About

Education

Born in 1989 in New Delhi, Ojaswwee Sharma’s early experiences shaped his creative and analytical pursuits. His foundational education at Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri, was followed by his family’s relocation to Panchkula, Haryana, near Chandigarh. He completed his higher secondary education in non-medical sciences at DAV Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh.

Despite his academic focus on science, Ojaswwee’s passion for storytelling and visual arts was evident from an early age. He pursued a degree in Computer Science from Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, followed by a dual-degree Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing. His interest in films and storytelling led him to complete a Post-Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from Panjab University and certification programs in Film Appreciation from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, as well as Trans-media Storytelling from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, amidst and ongoing working career. These diverse academic experiences provided him with a unique blend of technical and published knowledge, strategic thinking, and artistic vision.

His transition into film-making was deeply personal. A pivotal moment came in 2011 when, while navigating a new city in Bangalore, he lost years of photography work due to a damaged hard drive. This realization those moments, memories and human experiences could fade unless preserved, became the driving force behind his shift from photography to film-making and ultimate chalking the the path to Cinema Leadership.
